When you explain the philosophy behind the map design it makes sense. Your reason for not implementing wrap around is sound. On the matter of choke-points however, I disagree. I think a contest to design the map purely for the reward of having a more diverse and interesting map is fantastic. Also is there any consideration for having wraparound at the map edges?

About biomes, is there going to be any significance to them beyond a change of scenery?

Thank you for explaining the basics. I gather the strategy in gameplay evolves from the team aspect of it? That coordination with your friends often matters more than marginal increases in gear?
