God this is great to read.

Emote System (allowing for faster communication in tense situations) [WiP]

Please allow us to call out targets! One of the best features I miss since Guild Wars 1. Super useful.

Can't wait to see Alpha #2. Gotta get some friends to play with me!

Well since there's no target system it would work a little differently obviously. I think the simplest solution would be to be able to have some sort of way that lets you place icons on enemies. I.e. you click & hold on an enemy, it opens a context menu, if you swing mouse to right it places "Priority Target" Icon on that target for everyone inside your group/clan members in range. Or just a simple hotkey: "next target you click will get that icon".

Depending on how advanced "visual communication" is supposed to be, there could be all kinds of visual cues for coordination of groups. Giving movement directions, priority targets for specific players/damage dealers and so on. No idea what your vision there is but I can see that being really useful, especially for larger clans.

In my experience communication in teamspeak can be pretty wild even with experienced players, so being able to place visual aids would be awesome.

You are totally right. A visual target calling feature could be cool. Now on my to-do list.

Update: The "Call Target" feature has been implemented. Needs a couple small tweaks and a visual update and then we'll push it to the live server soon. =D
