Chronicle of Elyria - Kickstarter is ending soon

Postby Oije » 25 May 2016, 11:44

I am looking forward for Chronicles of Elyria.

They are running a Kickstarter Campaign now which is ending soon, though they are already funded with more than 1 MIO US Dollar they could need more ofc.

This MMO will have a different concept than all others and it looks really promising.

You can get more information on their website

Registering in their forums is free ofc and hey - if you like my tip then be so nice and set my friend code 175207 on your registration form

Cheers Oije

Pretty impressive campaign for an MMO. I'll be watching their development closely. They are promising many things that other designers have failed with miserably (permadeath, aging characters) or decided not to pursue for a lack of fun (char stay ingame while you are offline) - hope they can marke them work.

Leans a bit toward the "simulation dream" - but their ideas sound nice - will see how it works out.

Played a PBEM (Eressea) around 2004 that was a bit similar concerning MMO world simulation, but more on the level of a whole people than a single char. Was great fun, but over the years the established area kind of got locked into a permanent stalemate. Maybe the aging will break that.

Jarmo is always a bit of a troll, but a kind hearted one at best...

1) The dude in this video needs some fitness. Less Dr. Pepper, more Dr. Barbell.
2) That cube farm is hella boring. If I'm developing Chronicles of Elyria we would have some cool office shit.

Now... I love Hardcore games, I also love skill based/real-time PVP, so they have peaked my interest, the soul system seems to at least be an innovative attempt... thanks for sharing.
